A management system for an escape room franchise, with on-site desktop application for room management, and a cloud backend for remote venue management.

The customer's need was to have a room management software inside an escape room. The application should be able to show pictures to players inside the room and play sounds so that they can be helped or directed towards solving the various puzzles present. Being a franchise with offices in various Italian cities, we were asked to make a simple management backend with room usage statistics in the various locations.

A multi-screen desktop application has been developed, allowing the game master, which remotely controls the proper running of the game inside the room, to easily display images and text, as well as the ability to play sounds, to the players inside the room. The desktop application also integrates with a restful interface to a built-in backend that keeps track of all the game matches so that the customer can best manage their business. The backend was developed in cloud using Amazon AWS services, and allowing access to room usage statistics even remotely.
